Women have an unrivalled ability to change the world and create incredible things. Particularly in purely male industries.

For six years in a row, the Franco-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFU) has been holding the "Created by Women" competition (Prix de la Femme d'Affaires). The last two years, the award aims to celebrate the fact that, despite the war, blackouts, forced relocations, the resilience of women's businesses in Ukraine is extremely high. Launched by the Franco-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFU), the Award aims at supporting women entrepreneurs who continue to run their businesses even during war.

In 2024, 10 finalists were selected from 425 participants to receive prizes and awards.

At the award ceremony, the Special Distinction "Iron Woman" was received by Olga Melykh, the director of the company "KVOTA", which operates in a very "non-feminine" business and is engaged in the manufacturing of molds for plastic casting and the provision of services for the metal and plastic processing.

"This year, we are amazed by the number and quality of applications we received - 425," says Maud JOSEPH, Director of CCIFU. - This demonstrates the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of Ukrainian women, even in the most difficult times. We are proud that we can support these talented women and contribute to their success."

The KVOTA company is grateful to the Franco-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFU) for recognizing our director in the competition "Created by Women 2024".
