On July 29, 2023, a charity evening "The Art of Donations inspired by ballet" took place in Kyiv - an event organized by the Kyiv School of Economics and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The event brought together companies and philanthropists to raise funds for the purchase of two helicopters (MEDEVAC) for emergency medical evacuation of Ukrainian defenders and civilians from the battlefield and the war zone.
This was an outstanding evening with the fascinating story of the ballet "Radio & Juliet" performed by world-famous artists of the English National Ballet, the Birmingham Royal Ballet and the National Opera of Ukraine.
During the evening, more than 2 million US dollars were fundraised.
“The charitable evening “The Art of Donations” is a proof that art not only heals the soul, but also helps save lives,” said Olga Melykh, Director of KVOTA.
Since February 2022, KVOTA has been constantly supporting the economy of Ukraine and the Armed Forces by paying taxes (over UAH 1.5 million for 2022 and UAH 1 million for 2021), as well as by donating and making charitable contributions (the amount of which exceeds 18 thousand US dollars.)
We are glad to have the opportunity to join the charity evening "The Art of Donations inspired by ballet" and contribute to the purchase of medical helicopters (MEDEVAC).
