KVOTA became an active participant in the launch of the new Vinnytsia Unit of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP) — a platform for experience sharing, partnership development, and joint efforts to grow businesses in conditions of high uncertainty.

On December 18, the first Welcome Evening took place in Vinnytsia, bringing together entrepreneurs from the region. The event marked the starting point for building a local business community and served as a space to discuss challenges and opportunities for the development of Ukrainian businesses.

KVOTA Business Case: Full Production Cycle and a Strategy for Sustainable Growth

Among the key speakers of the event was Olga Melykh, Owner and CEO of the research and manufacturing company KVOTA. In her presentation, she introduced KVOTA as a family-owned business with a full production cycle — from the design and manufacturing of steel injection moulds to the serial production of plastic products for the automotive, medical, household, and packaging industries.

Special attention was given to KVOTA’s key competitive advantages:

  • full quality control at all stages of production;
  • combination of traditional and eco-friendly materials;
  • flexibility in working with clients and industries.

Risk Management as a Tool for Growth

The core focus of Olga Melykh’s speech was risk management as a strategic growth tool rather than merely a defensive mechanism. At KVOTA, business scaling is viewed as a way to diversify risks and enhance the company’s resilience, particularly in the context of the full-scale war.

Financial discipline, ISO 9001-based standardization of business processes, strategic flexibility, and readiness to quickly shift focus became key factors in the company’s adaptation in 2022. Emphasizing innovation and production localization under the “Made in Ukraine” brand allowed KVOTA not only to maintain its market position but also to build potential for entering international markets.

A Strong Business Community as the Foundation for Regional Development

KVOTA supports the development of entrepreneurial communities and believes in the power of professional dialogue, partnerships, and the exchange of practical experience. Platforms like SUP create the conditions necessary for business growth and regional economic development.

We sincerely thank the organizers and speakers for their openness and meaningful discussions, and the entrepreneurs of the Vinnytsia region for their active participation in shaping a new business community.
